If you are new to letter writing, even a simple task like writing a letter to your friend may appear daunting to you. You may even start thinking, what has letter writing got to do in this age of the internet? In a world of fast messaging apps, letter writing makes no sense. Main Body

Now comes the main body of the letter. You have to enlarge the letter. Add more words to it because a letter can’t be just a ‘Hi’ and a sentence. It is acceptable as a note, but seriously, a letter needs to be a teeny tiny bit longer. We have to put more words into it. We have to build it brick by brick like some construction worker, working day in and out. Phew!

Worry not, it is not that hard. A letter is just a few words making sense with lots of non-sense as decoration, cannon fodder, etc. Just talk about why you want to write this weird letter. You can write about bushes outside your home or a sheep in some farm you saw coming home, and now you are thinking about it no matter how hard you try to erase the image, or about a strange-looking dude on the street you saw yesterday, and how he came in your dream last night. It can be anything as long as it makes sense (or no sense for that matter). You can go outside. Breathe in the fresh air, look at the trees, the garden, the moon, or the road with its street lamps, and think about the uselessness and meaninglessness of life and how writing a letter will never help that feeling. But you have to write the letter anyway. Why? Because you just have to. Things in this world are like this, set in some nonsensical, random, stupid, unwritten rule-book, and you have to follow them and write a letter.
